Shop listings describe the Zeus Nano as a compact, leakproof, versatile tank. What they do not always mention is that Geekvape now uses the name for several different tanks, and that each one wants its own kind of e-liquid. A thick, low-nicotine recipe shines in one and falls flat in another. Before filling up, it pays to know which version you are holding and what its coil expects from the bottle.

Zeus Nano, the coil decides the liquid

A Zeus Nano is chosen by its coil first and by its liquid second. The Nano 2 and Nano 3 ship with a 0.2 ohm coil for direct-to-lung vaping, which calls for a high-VG e-liquid at a low nicotine strength. The Zeus Nano MTL works between 0.8 and 1.2 ohm, mouth-to-lung, with a thinner base and a higher strength.

In between, the 0.4 and 0.6 ohm coils open up a middle ground with a restricted draw. That is where nicotine salts find their place in the two sub-ohm models of the range.

Three Zeus Nano tanks in the Geekvape catalogue

The Z in the range stands for Zeus, and Geekvape’s official store writes “Z (Zeus) Nano”. The very first Z Nano is no longer listed there, and three tanks now carry the name. Unless stated otherwise, the figures below come from the manufacturer’s listings.

The Zeus Nano 2, the sub-ohm version listed since 2021

Listed on the official store since August 2021, the Zeus Nano 2 is presented by Geekvape as an upgrade of the first Z Nano. It fills from the top, adjusts its airflow from above and takes B Series coils. The box holds a 0.2 ohm Ni80 mesh coil rated for 50 to 58 W and a 0.6 ohm KA1 mesh coil rated for 15 to 25 W.

The standard tank is rated at 3.5 ml, and a 2 ml replacement glass comes in the box. One retailer describes the same 3.5 ml bubble glass and two air slots at the top of the tank.

The Zeus Nano MTL, built for a tight draw

Listed on the official store since April 2025, the Zeus Nano MTL measures 26.8 mm across and 60.99 mm tall. It uses B MTL coils at 0.8 ohm (12 to 16 W) and 1.2 ohm (8 to 12 W), with the first one pre-installed. Geekvape quotes 4 ml, or 2 ml for the TPD version.

The Zeus Nano 3, the latest one

Listed since February 2026, the Zeus Nano 3 measures 28 mm wide and 57.25 mm tall. It keeps the B coils, with a 0.2 ohm Boost coil (50 to 58 W) fitted and a 0.4 ohm Boost coil (25 to 35 W) as a spare, plus a second drip tip with a wider bore. Its standard capacity is 5 ml.

In the UK, a refillable tank is limited to 2 ml. The 3.5, 4 and 5 ml figures above are the standard versions sold elsewhere, and each of the three models also exists as a 2 ml TPD version, which is the one a UK shop can stock.

Zeus Nano B coils and nicotine strength

This detail is missing from the shop listings we read. On the page for its B coils in the Boost version, Geekvape pairs each resistance with an airflow setting and a maximum nicotine strength.

B Boost coilPowerAirflowNicotine advised by Geekvape
0.2 ohm50 to 58 Wtwo thirds open or more3 mg/ml at most in freebase nicotine
0.3 ohm30 to 38 Wtwo thirds open or more3 mg/ml at most in freebase nicotine
0.4 ohm25 to 35 Wone third open or less9 mg/ml in freebase, salts (legal cap of 20 mg/ml)
0.6 ohm15 to 25 Wone third open or less9 mg/ml in freebase, salts (legal cap of 20 mg/ml)

For salts, Geekvape quotes a threshold above what the law allows here. In the UK, nicotine e-liquid is capped at 20 mg/ml and sold in bottles of 10 ml at most. In a Zeus Nano, a 0.4 or 0.6 ohm coil therefore covers the whole range of nicotine salts on a UK shelf.

The logic is easy to remember. The lower the resistance, the more vapour the coil produces, and the lower the nicotine strength should be. The Zeus Nano 2 listing sums up its two stock coils by claiming bigger clouds and a stronger throat hit.

For the Zeus Nano MTL, Geekvape publishes no nicotine threshold. Its tight draw and its 8 to 16 W range still match the usual use of 10 ml nicotine e-liquids and nicotine salts.

Which VG/PG ratio suits a Zeus Nano

Geekvape gives no ratio for its tanks, so the base follows the coil. Propylene glycol (PG) carries flavour and throat hit, while vegetable glycerine (VG) thickens both the vapour and the liquid itself.

With the 0.2 ohm coil, a high-VG liquid keeps up with the power without trouble, which makes it the natural home of nicotine-free shortfills. Dessert recipes gain roundness there, fruit recipes lose a little sharpness.

With the 0.6 ohm or the MTL coils, a 50/50 base is the safest starting point. A liquid that is too thick generally feeds the cotton of a tight-draw coil more slowly, which shows up as a burnt taste. Our guide to red berry e-liquid profiles covers this match between recipe, base and kit in more detail.

Filling, airflow and coil life

All three versions fill from the top. The Nano 3 and the Nano MTL add a push-to-open cap, while the Nano 2 unscrews. One retailer advises filling to three quarters only and letting a fresh coil rest for 10 to 15 minutes before the first puff, so the cotton has time to soak.

Airflow is adjusted from the top on all three models, a layout Geekvape presents as leakproof. The settings in the table above are a starting point, because airflow left too open on a 0.6 ohm coil dilutes the flavour.

On coil life, the manufacturer contradicts itself. Its official store quotes 40 ml of liquid for B Boost coils, against 20 ml for the previous generation, while the product page on its website gives 50 to 60 ml. In a 2 ml UK tank, that comes to 20 to 30 fills, or four to six 10 ml bottles. A very sweet recipe generally clogs a coil sooner than those quoted figures.

FAQ

These questions come up often among people weighing up the Zeus Nano versions or looking for the right refill.

Does the Zeus Nano 2 take B MTL coils?

Yes. The listing for the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm B MTL coils names the Zeus Nano 2 among the compatible tanks, alongside the Zeus Nano MTL. The Nano 2 can therefore switch to a tight draw without changing tank.

Do Z Series coils fit a Zeus Nano?

No. All three Zeus Nano tanks use B coils, in the classic, Boost or MTL versions. Geekvape reserves its Z Series coils for other tanks in the family, such as the Zeus Subohm and the Zeus Fli.

What separates the Boost and classic B coils?

Geekvape’s official store sorts B coils into three families, Boost for direct-to-lung and restricted direct-lung vaping, classic for mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-lung, and MTL for mouth-to-lung only. The table above covers the Boost version alone, the only one for which the manufacturer publishes nicotine thresholds. It also presents Boost as the longer-lasting one.

Can I use nicotine salts in a Zeus Nano?

Yes, with the right coils. Geekvape allows them in its 0.4 and 0.6 ohm B Boost coils, and the Zeus Nano MTL suits them by design. With the 0.2 or 0.3 ohm coils, the manufacturer sticks to freebase nicotine at 3 mg/ml or less.

Will a Zeus Nano fit any mod?

Geekvape lists a 510 connector, a widespread standard on mods, for the Nano 2 and the Nano MTL. Diameter matters too, since a 28 mm tank like the Nano 3 overhangs a narrower mod.

Choosing a Zeus Nano and its e-liquid

The name alone is not enough to pick a refill, because it covers three tanks with different uses. The fitted coil decides everything, from base to nicotine strength, and the thresholds Geekvape publishes give a marker that shop listings leave out.

A 0.2 ohm coil calls for a high-VG, low-strength liquid, a 0.6 ohm or MTL coil for a 50/50 base and nicotine salts if needed. With those markers, the Zeus Nano is filled with your eyes open, and the same method works for any tank with swappable coils.
